Useful bacteria instead of fertilisers

Useful root bacteria (in green colour???) commonly colonise plants and significantly stimulate their growth or resistance. In turn, the plants provide them with part of the sugar they produce. The 3D picture from a confocal microscope reveals the upper parts of the root and an empty seminal vesicle of the cress (Arabidopsis).
