Edgar B. Montufar from Mexico is working at the CEITEC BUT science centre on materials that accelerate the regeneration of damaged human tissues and organs, fractures and bone injuries. In Brno, this scientist is working on the development of so-called scaffolding for tissue engineering. Figuratively speaking, this is scaffolding that subsequently supports cells during tissue and organ regeneration. Due to his work with companies and doctors, with his family he has also begun to learn Czech.
